About Piano Lessons

LuAnn considers it a joy and a privilege to teach others about making music with the piano. She believes that anyone with the interest and the commitment to practice should consider learning this lifelong and infinitely rewarding skill. The process of developing one’s ability is just as important as the final results and LuAnn acts as the #1 fan and cheerleader of her students as this process unfolds.

Playing and practicing the piano is therapeutic, challenging,  all-absorbing and at times, relaxing! In addition to gaining musical  knowledge, children and teens learn concentration and  perseverance as they work towards a long-term goal, while adults gain patience and self  acceptance as they begin to understand that some things cannot be rushed.
